Family therapy addresses issues that impact the family unit and includes all members of the family based on your perception of the meaning of family.
Group Therapy uses the power of the group mindset to support each person's individual healing.
This is a six-eight session interactive group providing support exclusively to women, 18 and older, who have experienced trauma. It offers a strength based approach to empower women to increase their sense of self and recover from trauma.
Healers and Helpers Wellness Group (Rapid Resolution Consultation)
This group is designed to bring helping professionals together to network, build relationships , share information, gain support, and empower themselves while they practice self care. Time is spent addressing issues faced in private practice. Meetings are held every third Saturday from 12 noon to 2 pm.
Caregiver Support Group
Care giving is Rewarding, but it can affect your own health and well-Being. This group is designed to provide support while learning about the challenges and stressors caregivers face. It is held every Third (3rd) Tuesday at 6:30 pm. Due to COVID-19, all sessions are held via zoom platform.
Teen Girls Empowerment
Group counseling sessions for girls ages 14 to 18 to explore issues faced on a daily basis. Issues such as peer pressure, self image, relationships, self esteem, family conflict, fitting in, future plans, etc are dealt with in an authentic way to help teen progress. Participants are given a safe space along with tools to share thoughts and feelings on the challenges they face. They are taught ways to stay positive, learn how to make good decisions, and develop a greater sense of self. The group is open and new members can join at anytime if space is available. The group is limited to 8 participants.
Anxiety is the number one mental health disorder in the Untied states. Many experience anxiety on a daily basis, but because of lack of knowledge they go about their daily life without seeking treatment, or self-medicating with what feels good. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once experienced in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with past painful and traumatic circumstances long after the event. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness which are associated with trauma are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We support you in overcoming these symptoms and guide you through the process of healing.
The pain of Grief and Loss has no timeline! The emotional pain you experience as a response of your loss is grief. Sometimes it is numb, sometimes it comes in a tangled web of emotions. However, there is help. After the death and the funeral, when the cards, flowers and visits have stopped we will be here to sit, be present and help share your pain. You don’t have to go through the suffering of grief and loss process alone.
